$15 PASA Members, $25 all others.  Lunch will be provided.

Come out to Liberty Gardens and learn how Jeffrey Frank found his niche growing high quality, chemical free and environmentally sustainable produce for the Lehigh Valley and NYC restaurant trade, and the nearby Emmaus Farmers Market. Hear about the initial business plan and the annual reviews that have helped to hone this successful small-scale farm model. Discussion will include sustainable pest management practices specific to hoophouse production.  Pioneering leader in sustainable farming and restaurant marketing, Mark Dornstreich of Branch Creek Farm will also be on hand to discuss the trajectory of his successful 30-year farming operation.

In 2000, Jeffrey Frank followed a long-time dream, starting Liberty Gardens on family property. With 3 acres in vegetables, a greenhouse, and two hoophouses Jeffrey has taken his experience gardening in NYC and added exceptional customer service and a willingness to tailor production to the specific demands of the restaurants he serves.
