The Challenge COOK-OFF
Grilled steaks will be judged by a panel of professional chefs, food writers and passionate eaters who will award prizes for "best in class." Contestants will be showcased at the event and the winners will be announced in PASA Passages newsletter.

Event Open to the Public
At 1 pm the Glasbern grounds will open for fun, delicious, and educational activities. Guests can sample grilled grass-fed burgers and beer braised beef stew, buy a mug of Stoudts Brewery local craft beer, and groove to live music provided by PASA board vice president and farmer Brian Moyer, along with his friends The Brintton Brothers. Informative poster displays will detail each of the grazing operations participating in the competition, and presentations on the pasture-based farm at Glasbern will be available. A fun raffle for grass-fed steaks and other goodies is also being organized. The Cook-Off takes place rain or shine, because grass fed beef tastes the best in any weather!

TICKETS AVAILABLE!
Event tickets are $10 for PASA members, $15 for non-members.
Attendance is limited so book early.

SOLD OUT!
The PASA Grass-fed Beef Challenge COOK OFF is sold out.

“PASA is grateful to Al Granger for inspiring this family-friendly, deliciously fun event. Growers can learn from each other, guests will experience first-hand the superiority of grass-fed beef, and sustaining connections between growers and eaters can be formed. Though there will only be 3 “Best in Class” awards, we believe everyone’s a winner who participates in the Beef Cook-off.” -Marilyn Anthony, PASA Southeast Regional Director & Event Coordinator
