PASA’s Volunteer and Work-Share Program allows you to trade volunteer hours (both before and during the Conference) for reduced registration rates.
The participants in this program are an integral part of making the Conference run smoothly. PASA is a grassroots organization, so we depend on the volunteer hours of our members, friends, and neighbors. Please consider donating your hours to the conference!

Completing the application does not mean you have registered to be a participant at the Conference. As a Work-Sharer, you must register for the conference using a Conference Registration Form.  If you have already sent in your registration, please be sure to indicate this on the application. Once you are registered for the conference and scheduled for Work-Share hours, you will receive a copy of your individual Work-Share schedule along with your conference registration confirmation.

Due to the number of requests PASA receives for Work-Share opportunities, the Work-Share Policy is non-negotiable. This program has been designed with the intention of helping people take advantage of PASA’s educational resources. PASA does not trade Work-Share hours for meals, lodging, or any other conference-related expenses.

What is PASA’s Work-Share policy?
Over the years, PASA has benefited from many hours of volunteer and Work-Share participants help.  Volunteers contribute their time while expecting no compensation in return. However, some folks are grateful for an opportunity to “work” at the conference in exchange for a PASA membership or a discounted registration.  PASA has a clear Work-Share policy that will allow you to exchange time spent working at the conference for discounted membership or registration fees.  The Work-Share policy is as follows:

  •   Work 4 hours of Work-Share time to receive a membership at
     Student or Individual level.

  •   Work 8 hours of Work-Share time to receive a partial registration
     (you must pay $63.00).

  •   Work 12 hours of Work-Share time to receive a partial registration
     (you must pay $63) and a membership at the Student or Individual
     level.

  •   Work 16 hours of Work-Share time to receive a full registration
     ($125 off) to the conference (does not include meals or lodging).
