The Farming for the Future Conference
is PASA’s signature event and the main
vehicle for community building.
It was a grand success in February 2007, when over 1,700 people gathered from over thirty-five states for 3 very important days of learning and sharing. Our audience of farmers, processors, researchers, business and community leaders, consumers, students, teachers, and industry experts, looks forward to convening annually. We also very much look forward to February 2008, and invite you to join us!

This year’s theme, Ready to Grow: Sharing the Sustainable Story, provides an ideal platform for our two keynote speakers (read about Diane Wilson and Mark McAfee inside). With 10 Thursday Pre-Conference Tracks including hands-on pastured poultry, hands-on bio-diesel, beginning cheese making and a thorough beef-cattle intensive; this year’s conference encompasses a high quality line-up. Over 75 workshops on Friday and Saturday will feature timely topics such as CSA, small fruit production, Farm Bill and agricultural policy, grazing, at-home veterinary care, marketing, specialized vegetable topics, forest farming, and much more!
